How do I create a custom role?
A custom role is a type of user permission group that you can create with customised access rights tailored to your business needs. A custom role is a good option for you if the default roles don’t match your team structure, or when you need to grant unique permissions to certain staff.
Please note, custom roles are only available for pro subscription plans.
To start creating a custom role:
- Log in to your Moniebook account
- Select Staff & Roles on the left-hand side
- Select Roles at the top
- Select Add Role to create a new custom role
- On the Create role screen:
- Enter the name of the role you’re creating
- Turn on unrestricted permissions
- Under Permission type, select the permissions for the custom role
- Select Create role to finish
Keep in mind when selecting specific permissions for your custom role that some permission categories will automatically include related default permissions.
Once you’ve created your custom role, you’ll be able to find it in your list of available roles.
